It is <strong>completely free<\/strong> to take part.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"507\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/bristolsacre.org.uk\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/WIRE-Fishponds.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-500\" style=\"width:265px;height:251px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bristolsacre.org.uk\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/WIRE-Fishponds.jpg 507w, https:\/\/bristolsacre.org.uk\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/WIRE-Fishponds-300x284.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 507px) 100vw, 507px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To gain the award for your school:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Somebody from your school must attend an <a href=\"https:\/\/bristolsacre.org.uk\/site\/religious-eduction\/re-conferences\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"1077\">RE conference<\/a> or attend an <a href=\"https:\/\/bristolsacre.org.uk\/site\/re-hub\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"619\">RE Hub<\/a> meeting;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must visit a place of worship that is not Christian (or a majority faith represented in your school);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Arrange an encounter day or RE event and invite a member of SACRE <strong>OR<\/strong> enter a competition to do with RE, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.natre.org.uk\/about-natre\/projects\/spirited-arts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spirited Arts.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WIRE Gold Award<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the WIRE award, schools are also invited to collect the WIRE Gold Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WIRE Gold Award encourages schools to go beyond individual activity and reach across the school, out to parents, or to other schools in their area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Schools can choose from a \u2018menu\u2019 of activities to achieve their award.
